This exhibit examines the art of moccasin-making among the Southwest Native Tribes. To Feel the Earth features the moccasins' cultural significance as both a necessity and an iconic symbol of heritage and tradition.


This exhibit was developed and is circulated by the School for Advanced Research and was made possible through the generous support of the Ann Ray Charitable Trust.


Growing Up Pueblo, Past, Present, and Future of the Acoma People. Stephanie Riley Oct 27, 2015

This exhibit highlights the book Growing Up Pueblo - Past, Present, and Future of the Acoma People. The book was developed to preserve the history of Acoma through lifetime stories identifying the differences between the past, present, and future. This exhibit features these stories using visual, audio, and text components as well as interactive stations allowing for continual visitor contributions.
